Yoga Classes

Alex offers trauma-informed yoga classes that center nervous system regulation, subtle body awareness, and a deep respect for the roots of yoga. Their classes invite students to move with intention, connect to breath, and explore yogic philosophy in an accessible way. Alex honors the South Asian lineages and cultures yoga comes from, creating inclusive spaces grounded in consent, choice, and safe embodiment. All bodies and experience levels are welcome, and classes can be adapted for private sessions, community groups, or special events.

Vinyasa Flow

A dynamic and energizing class where movement is synchronized with breath. Vinyasa Flow builds strength, flexibility, and mental focus through creative sequencing and fluid transitions. Suitable for all levels, this class offers modifications and variations to meet your body where it is today.

Affirmation or Mantra-Themed

Align body, mind, and intention through the power of words. Each class integrates yoga postures with a thoughtfully chosen affirmation or mantra to cultivate inner strength, clarity, or compassion. Expect a soulful practice that nurtures both your body and your mindset.

Yoga for Embodiment

Reclaim connection to your body through intuitive movement and sensory awareness. This class encourages curiosity, presence, and self-trust, making space for you to explore how movement feels—rather than how it looks. No experience necessary, just a willingness to tune in.

Restorative

This deeply calming class invites stillness, rest, and gentle support. Using props like bolsters and blankets, you'll hold poses for extended periods to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote healing. Ideal for stress relief, recovery, or anyone in need of quiet nourishment.

Pride Yoga

 A celebratory and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ individuals to move, breathe, and connect authentically. This class centers queer voices and fosters community through accessible movement, grounding breathwork, and affirming themes. 

Yoga for Anxiety Relief

A calming, grounding practice designed to soothe the nervous system and create inner spaciousness. Using gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques, this class helps ease anxious patterns and supports you in finding balance both on and off the mat.

Chakra-Themed

Explore the subtle energy centers of the body through movement, breath, sound, and visualization. Each session focuses on a different chakra to restore energetic balance and enhance self-awareness. This class blends gentle flow, meditation, and reflection for a holistic experience.

Yoga for Trauma Survivors

A gentle, choice-based practice designed to support healing, safety, and empowerment. Grounded in trauma-informed principles, this class offers accessible movement, breath awareness, and mindful presence without pressure or expectation. All bodies and experiences are welcome.
